I found this a highly relatable article and a powerful image when illustrating the impact of grief on society. Likening the the spread of the virus to a psychological shadow pandemic of which there is no vaccination.
We will all have very varied experiences of grief, in this 'new normal', grief of the passing of loved ones, a way of life, of lost time. It's important for us to recognise the ambiguity of grief, to accept that moving on and 'getting over it' isn't possible' but that when accepted, is 'a necessary part of recognition and regeneration'.
